How we made K-PEaCE win the Nigerian Idol Competition!

I have received NUMEROUS congratulatory messages (and I'm not K-PEaCE o!...lol) on the victory of our very own K-PEaCE as the New Nigerian Idol. People have also asked me how we got to do an amazing publicity for him...How we made people, who hardly knew him, spend their monies on him.

I have decided to SHARE the Online strategy we used...:Quite lengthy, but informative.


1. We looked at his strengths right from the audition stage... Took out the audition video and sold the creative aspect of the video...even when some people felt it was annoying. We kept on hammering, with amazing write-ups and relevant mentions, on the creativity of this amazing dude. We did this till Great people,like Don Jazzy, got the buzz and re-shared on their platforms also.

2. While in the House... We introduced, first, people to the Nigerian Idol show (after realizing that most people weren't watching)... Then, we introduced people to the unique act (K-PEaCE)...and kept referring to the audition video... People got interested and started following.

3. We made viewing very flexible for the viewers. I must also confess that I watched ALL the performances online. We realised almost all our prospective supporters were ONLINE, so we decided to cut K-PEaCE's performances and placed them ONLINE (Thanks to OPRA DRE).

4. Using Emotional Intelligence, we were able to bring the real story of K-Peace into the picture and gave reasons why K-PEaCE deserved their votes.

5. We used platforms like BBM, Twitter, facebook, Instagram... To constantly do this without being annoying all the time. (We didn't ask people to vote all the time. Sometimes, we just wanted to send a broadcast just to check on them, or to thank them for their Love and support). We also didn't fail to give constant information as the programme progressed. So people who didn't watch at all followed till the end through out good compositions.

6. With time, people started buying into the act... And started doing chain publicity on our behalf, because they began to see reasons why K-PEaCE, (The guy they hardly knew), deserved to win.

7. The TeamKPEaCE eventually grew from just 2 people to thousands of people who never knew K-PEaCE but just wanted him to win. TeamKPEaCE kept multiplying till K-PEaCE eventually emerged the winner!
